Are you you in the mood to be a little “naughty”?
Oftentimes, when I am surfing Pinterest looking for a good recipe to make, I usually look for pins that have a super yummy picture. But then something with a unique name will catch my eye and I can’t resist reading about it. For example, I couldn’t resist the temptation to make “Monkey Butter” or “Million Dollar Spaghetti” when I saw it. How can you resist recipes with names like those? Go ahead and take a look at them. Aren’t you curious too??
Anyway, so when I saw this recipe for Mississippi Sin Dip that I pinned from I Believe I Can Fry! I knew this was right up my alley and I couldn’t resist trying it out!
Holy Moly…..this dip was sooooo good!
(Is it a sin to say”‘Holy” and “Sin” in the same paragraph?!)
Why is this called Mississippi Sin Dip? I don’t really know but after eating it, it’s probably because it’s a sin to eat this many calories in one sitting. With cream cheese, sour cream and cheese, it came out of the oven warm, gooey and cheesy and for me, I was thinking that it would probably be a sin NOT to eat it because it was so good!
With football season just starting, this would make an amazing appetizer to bring to your football parties! I made it for my family for just a Sunday dinner and it was gone in no time. I bought a second loaf of bread and served this dip with that 2nd loaf cut in cubes but you could also serve it with any type of cracker.
My suggestion? Go ahead a sin a little. I promise I won’t tell.
Because I won’t be able to. I’ll have some of this Mississippi Sin Dip stuffed in my mouth!
Very happy to report that This Pin Rocks!
