You can never get too much of a good thing, right? Especially when it comes to potatoes! Since originally posting this Lipton Onion Potatoes Recipes, it has been repinned over 80,000 times. That’s a good thing right?
We’ve also had many great comments from folks who have made this recipe and have been kind enough to come back to let us know how much they loved it!
So back for an encore performance, may I present…..drum roll please…..Lipton Onion Potatoes!And now for the incredibly easy recipe:
Wash your potatoes
Thinly slice them and lay them in a 9×13 pan.
Melt 2 cubes of butter (1 cup) in a microwave safe dish.
Mix two envelopes of Lipton’s Onion Soup Mix into your melted butter.
Pour over your sliced potatoes.
Cover with foil and cook at 375 degrees for approx 45 minutes or until soft when pricked with a fork
That’s it! Seriously folks, this is one recipe you just gotta try!

I used five but they were the HUGE ones that I bought at Costco. If you are using smaller ones, it will take a few more. Usually I just eyeball it. Hope that helps! Deb – The Oldest Sister
