Every now and then I see something on Pinterest that makes me laugh out loud because it is so stinkin’ fun! This is one of them. I am not talking about a chuckle. I am talking throw your head back and HaHaHa from the belly. Wouldn’t this be a great family competition to see who can come up with the most clever pics of their Dummy Mummy ?
We just love this idea from Camilla of Family Chic. Here is how we made ours:
Supplies
Let’s make a Mummy! Take your wire and shape it into a body form. Mine was slightly long in the torso, but he still turned out fine.
Tear your muslin into 1/4 to 1/2 inch wide. Cut a small part to start your strip and then tear it the rest of the way. We want the worn look for our mummy.
Wrap his head first. when you are at the end of your strip tie it to another strip and keep on wrapping and wrapping and wrapping. I used hot glue to secure the end of the last strip at the back of his leg. I kept my mummy on the lean side, but if you want more of a “hunky” mummy do some extra wrapping.
Here are few of the ridiculous things Dummy has been seen doing around our house lately!
This Mummy Rocks!
