In February Deb and I attended the Six Sisters blogging conference, we had a wonderful time meeting so many talented bloggers. The conference was jam packed with amazing classes and opportunities to meet different companies and talk with them about their products. One brand’s product in particular caught my eye, Stampin’ Up!’s Paper Pumpkin crafting kit. The kits have everything you need to create amazing paper crafts with the cutest embellishments.
I was so excited to see my kit when it arrived!
Can’t help it, I just love tissue paper and fun packaging.
Once I unpacked the supplies I was ready to start my cards.
I started by peeling the stamp off it’s plastic and adhered it to the clear block, making sure it was straight.
Then I used the blue ink pad and dabbed it over the stamp.
I then practiced using the stamp, on my first try I did not use even pressure when stamping so some of the stamp didn’t show up. On my second try I got the even pressure right and the whole stamp turned out great. I then practiced making several stamps in a row. Once I got that down I was ready to start on my cards.
You can also use the color block to make some fun patterns on your envelopes. Start by dabbing the ink pad in a random order.
Once the whole pad is covered with ink you are ready to stamp!
I started in the corner and worked my way around.
Here is how it looks finished.
I tried it out on the flap only and really like the look.
After all my practicing here are my finished thank you and congratulations cards and tags!
My life gets pretty crazy being a wife, mom and blogger, this is the kind of craft that I miss doing because I don’t always have time to go out and purchase the supplies. Thank you Stampin’ Up! your for Paper Pumkin kits, you have made crafting like this convenient, affordable and FUN! You have also given me another great idea for gifts! You know what that means…..
