We have a new guest contributor, Shannan Warr from Clad and Cloth! Although Shannon’s first post is the yummy recipe below, her real love is fashion. Her DIY projects have a fresh, clean style that we just had to have here at Made From Pinterest. My favorite project is her DIY Leather Clutch, I just might become a fashionista with her help. We are thrilled to have her join us in our never ending journey of testing pins from Pinterest!
I’m so excited to guest post for the lovely ladies of Made From Pinterest! I’ve made a special post just for all you readers on an easy and healthy snack that tastes fabulous! I love fashion but probably more than that I love food (I wouldn’t really be here without it after all). I hope you enjoy this awesome recipe!
This is such a easy healthy snack and the best part about it is that it tastes like gourmet food! This works great for a light breakfast or lunch and it only takes 10 minutes. This would also make a great appetizer for a nice meal or for a bridal/baby shower.
Here are the ingredients you’ll need to make this:
1. 1 Loaf Artisan Bread
2. 1/2 Cup Ricotta Cheese
3. 1 Medium Sized Tomato
4. 1 tsp Italian Herb Seasoning
5. 1/4 tsp Salt
Mix the ricotta cheese, italian herb seasoning, and salt in a small bowl. Set aside.
Slice the bread into small slices and toast in the toaster (you can use the oven but I thought the toaster would be quicker and easier). After toasting the bread, spread on the ricotta cheese with a butter knife. Place thinly sliced tomatoes onto bread.
The next step is to enjoy the easiest and most delicious snack you’ve ever made!

Those toast look wonderful. They’d even be a great side to a salad or a bowl of soup. Thank you for sharing at Simple Supper.

I’m out of Ricotta so I made this with cream cheese and it was WONDERFUL! Going to the store NOW for Ricotta! I bet it is divine! Thanks for sharing.
